Welcome to my page of design work. My name is Alice Britton, an La native and raised in southern California. Growing up in a cultural haven exposed me to the many facets of the west coast. Always itching to travel and experience other parts of the world, I fell in love with Short Track Speedskating (I know different for west cost). I trained and traveled all around the world with the Junior and World team. Being an athlete for 12 years, I’ve made friends who became family and a community.
After competing for years I was ready to move onto another chapter. I always enjoyed using my hands to craft and make things, and at Otis College of Art and Design I was exposed to footwear design. I found it to be limitless in creation that impacted culture. Today, as a designer with 10 years of experience, I enjoy designing and creating product that is highly focused on aesthetics and function.
I currently reside in Santa Barbara working as a Senior Footwear Designer for Men and Women’s product in the sneaker and outdoor footwear categories.
Over the years outside of footwear, I’ve designed and built furniture with my husband and currently diving into film and learning to screen write and make short films.
